Shalom Bible College was started in 1988 by God’s divine plan, to equip men and women to be a vital instrument in God’s hand. As we know the strength of a structure and its ability to stand is not determined by the building but the foundation on which it stands. Jesus described it as hearing and doing the word of God (Mt 7:24), and that is the main priority of Shalom Bible College from the beginning. So far we have trained 330 pastors and leaders to their full potential in Christ Jesus. They are preaching the good news of Jesus and planting churches in Bihar, Jharkhand, Andhar Pradesh, Karnataka and in many parts of Tamil Nadu.
Shalom Bible College had small beginnings but by the grace of God it is growing. We have Spirit filled, well-educated and experienced teachers that teach the Word of God. They also care for the mental and spiritual development of the students with pastoral care. Each student is sponsored by the generous financial giving of other Christians throughout the world, providing food and accommodation and teaching them the Word of God. Students also have access to 3000 of books in the college library. The campus of Shalom Bible College is15000sq/feet with a playing field to play cricket, volley ball etc to keep fit and healthy. By God’s grace last year Shalom Bible College established another Branch Training Institute in Ranchi, North India.
Shalom Bible College not only teaches the students the word of God but also helps them to show the Word to others in faith, love and compassion. Every Saturday the students will attend an outreach with the pastor supervising them, Wednesday’s the students have hospital ministries and they receive more training in the weekly cell groups meeting of the local church. The second year students have the benefit of being trained in the ministry by our branch church pastors.
It is a great opportunity for you or for the people you know to learn more about Jesus and do His ministry effectively. LET US “WIN INDIA FOR CHRIST AT ANY COST”
In God’s Field, Pastor Charles Finny, Principal Shalom Bible College.
